That is a very good analysis re: people who should be there and people who shouldn't. I would add Michael/Walt--Walt was sent to the island (by his stepdad who abandoned him).
I am surprised you don't like Heroes S1. S2 is BORING. S1 was pretty good, I actually enjoyed it more than Lost last year. But I do think it's not as innovative as Lost--Heroes is a lot like X-Men (and other comics).
