Has anyone read “Never Let Me Go” by Kazuo Ishiguro? It addresses some of the same issues as Jodi Picoult’s book My Sister’s Keeper but it’s different.

I just finished it. Did you think maybe they didn’t have souls and that’s why they were so freakishly obsessed with the minor details of social status instead of the huge issue of being a clone whose sole purpose was organ donation? Why didn’t they run away? Commit suicide? Why were they so passive?
